HELLO!!!! THIS IS MY FIRST ENTRY! AAAAA EEEE IM SO EXCITED
I’ll just introduce myself first- hi! My name is vee or sunny (or cj iykyk) but probably just vee is fine lmao. My pronouns are she/her and I am at the time of writing an ace lesbian. I will not share my exact age, but just know I am a minor so no freaky stuff/commissions.

Hi! I realised that I have kinda been neglecting my site lmao, so I added some little easter eggs (see if you can find them!) and fixed up the homepage a bit more. Do we love it or do we love it? Well, I don’t have much to talk about, but I did get a new job! It’s not that great and the manager isn’t nice exactly, but she’s not mean. And I am getting paid a pretty livable wage considering it’s literally just a mediocre cafe. (Don’t tell Aoife I said that!) I guess its location near the inner city probably helps to bring it business, since people always think cafes in the city are going to be “chic” or “hidden gems” or whatever. But anyway… The other day I had a morning shift that ended at noon (😭) and I made this ABSOLUTELY BANGING chicken-and-rice thing to eat on the train back home. I actually got the recipe from my primary school friend’s mother- she was Thai and had an incredible recipe collection, which if I remember correctly she kept in a cookie jar shaped like a bear playing the cello. Anyway I had a very cosy experience on the train eating this, and I highly recommend making it. You can even make a really big batch and eat it for dinner as well! :D

Not much to talk about but I did read a really good book: Where We Once Belonged by Sia Figiel. It’s about a 13-year-old girl called Alofa, and her childhood and teenage years in a small Samoan village. It’s based on the authors own experiences and OMG IT IS SO GOOD All of the characters are amazingly developed and described, the poetry-like narration could not have been done better. There’s even multiple queer characters, none of which play into stereotypes at ALL. Read it.

Hello! Update! I haven’t written anything here for a while, but that’s because my life is going really really well lately! I think that’s partially because my relationship with my girlfriend is going great- we have lots of inside jokes and slow mornings and I feel like this is the healthiest relationship I’ve had in a long time. I’m kind of scared to say it but I think I want to be with her forever (not to brag, this is a new thing for me and I have no one to talk about it with haha). Also, I was lucky enough to be given a proofread copy of my friend’s new book! It’s called The Ruin of Magic and it is so beautifully written, so lyrical, I loveeeee it!!! Obviously it’s released now but this was a while ago and I even got to make suggestions on things to change!! If you want to read it/learn more about the author then she is Kate Holden.
